PAST EVENTS
We are proud to showcase our pARTnership initiative - Community Engagement for Adults with Special Needs at an inaugural Sip 'N See Gallery. The event will feature a silent auction and showcase of the creative works made by our Members. This is not your typical ART - the artwork showcased at the gallery are made by young adults with varying degrees of special needs using adaptable equipment, unusual supplies and reflect the amazing capabilities and creative spirit of our pARTnership!
ART is a form of expression, a way to communicate. Art can inspire and spark a movement! The pARTnership initiative empowers our young adults with special needs to engage with the community by sharing and showcasing their ART to inspire and collaborate with local businesses and organizations. We will share more about pARTnership, how the art is made behind the scenes and what businesses and organizations have already benefited from this initiative!
Tickets to "Sip and See" support New Transitions Center, a non-profit, community based center to enhance the lives of young adults with significant special needs. This organization is dedicated to those who have aged-out of public support services and have no options to continue to learn, grow and engage with their peers. All ticket sales goes to The Center to ensure its Members have a safe place with daily structured educational programming including independent life skills, communication and social skills to engage with their community in a meaningful way.
